Moreover, the app offers an exploration mode that allows users to maneuver the vehicle, such as in a garage, without physically being inside it. To utilize the Remote Parking Assist (or Remote Parking Pilot for older models), users need to activate this function on their vehicle's infotainment system and perform the maneuvers with a compatible device. It's important to note that the vehicle key should be kept outside the vehicle within a certain range of approximately 3 meters during this process.

It is essential to have a Mercedes me account and a compatible device with Bluetooth connectivity in order to utilize this app. The available functions within the app may vary depending on the vehicle's configuration, acceptance of Mercedes me connect services' general terms of use, and the terms of use of Remote Parking Assist/Remote Parking Pilot. These conditions must be agreed upon by the main user of the vehicle, who can be identified through the customer portal of Mercedes me connect.

For a secure connection to the vehicle, the app requires access to telephone functions for authentication purposes. Compatibility-wise, this app is designed for selected vehicles up to model year 08/2020.
